David Blair has a degree in mathematics from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, which is one hour from where he was born and raised. He has taught high school math for over 16 years and every subject from algebra to AP Calculus. He has been involved in writing curriculum, teaching SAT prep courses, organizing Math Clubs, and developing a web site for his students. David has a wife Anna and a young son Hayden. Anna is a co-owner of Believe in Math . She is a flight nurse and has taught nursing courses at every stage of her career. She is widely respected within her profession for being a consumate professional, a team leader, and someone who can explain information so that everyone can understand it. Anna is a native of northern California and also spent five years in the Navy as a nurse.
David has always had high expectations for his students and he feels that math ability across the nation is lagging. He sees Believe in Math as a new way to deliver his method of instruction to anyone who wants to learn math. The AP Calculus course has been approved by College Board as an official AP course, meaning colleges and universities will recognize this as an official AP class.
